Sitting in and writing

I sat in with Jim's trio and it went pretty well. It is good to remain active, but I really look forward to singing my originals again. Singing a cover verses your own songs is expressive on different levels. I am writing a lot lately with a partner which is great. Working with other people always gives you another perspective and that is really important.
